Something big just landed at Nalu Vida. Our Venice Beach restaurant has updated its menu with a wave of new dishes, extended brunch hours, and fresh additions across food and drinks. Whether you are a regular or planning your first visit to 1 Washington Blvd, here is everything that is new.

Breakwater Breakfast: Extended Hours and New Dishes

Big news for brunch fans at our Venice Beach restaurant: Breakwater Breakfast is now served until 4PM daily, up from 2PM. That means more beach time before committing to brunch, and more time for the 60-minute Bottomless Mimosas at $24. Two dishes getting a lot of attention right now are the Avocado Toast and the French Toast.

Left: Avocado Toast, $14 – available all day. Right: French Toast, $18 – golden brioche, cinnamon kissed.

The Avocado Toast at $14 is now explicitly listed as available all day – roasted corn, black sesame seed, lime zest, olive oil, sprout, charred serrano, and sea salt on sourdough. It is a plant-based staple that works as well at noon as it does at 3PM. The French Toast at $18 keeps things simple and satisfying: golden brioche, cinnamon kissed. Both are worth the trip on their own.

The breakfast section also has a few other updates. The Breakfast Burger (formerly the Smash-N-Stack Breakkie Burger) is now simply called the Breakfast Burger at $15: double patty, Coopers white American, pineapple bacon jam, sunny-side up egg, tater tots, and adobo gravy. Same great dish, cleaner name. The Breakfast Burrito now lists grilled chicken alongside the 12-hour smoked kalua pork as protein options.

The Poke Bowl at $24 has been a menu anchor at our Venice Beach restaurant since day one, and it is not going anywhere. Your choice of Ahi, Salmon, or Beets over white rice, with sesame oil-tossed red cabbage, pickled cucumber, garlic edamame, radish, ponzu, avocado, chili oil, and bang bang sauce. Elote Flatbread: The Artisan Pizza Worth Talking About

Elote Flatbread at Nalu Vida, $17. Charred corn, elote cream sauce, charred jalapeno, sour cream, lime zest, tajin, mozzarella.

If you have not tried the Elote Flatbread yet, this is your reminder. At $17, it is one of the most distinctive things on the menu at our Venice Beach restaurant: charred corn, elote cream sauce, charred jalapeno, sour cream, lime zest, tajin, and mozzarella on an artisan flatbread base. It is inspired by the Mexican street corn tradition and adapted into something that works perfectly with a cold margarita on the patio.

The Fish N Chips at $24 is exactly what a Venice Beach restaurant should be doing with this dish. Beer battered wild caught cod, a malt vinegar whisper, and house made tartar sauce. It is the kind of entrée that earns its place on a beach boardwalk menu by being properly executed every time. Simple, satisfying, and deeply Californian in spirit.

More New Items at Our Venice Beach Restaurant

The update goes beyond what we could photograph in a single shoot. The Sticky Tiki Ribs at $18 are a new shareable: six-hour smoked baby back ribs glazed in mango habanero BBQ, served 3-count. The Tiki Ribs are also now available as a full entree, with a half rack at $31 and a full rack at $46, both served with fries. The BBQ Smoke Wave at $22 joins the Breakwater Bites section as a fully plant-based option: sweet and spicy pulled vegan Chunk, pineapple, chipotle slaw, and pickle on a potato bun.

On the salads side, the new Citrus Bomb Salad at $15 leads the Soup and Salad section: romaine, cucumber, avocado, tomato, and a crisp citrus vinaigrette, vegan and gluten free. We have also added an Add Protein option across the whole salad section: Steak +$12, Chicken +$10, Salmon +$10, Shrimp +$9. Two new sides round things out: Onion Rings at $12 with sriracha aioli and ranch, and Grilled Seasonal Veggies at $12, vegan and gluten free.
